Its Me

Gorgeous, intelligent, kind, sweet, charming, witty, hilarious, friendly...

Me a teenager, soon to be an adult. Presently I am quite busy in studies, though I find myself ample time for tweeting, and blogging.

I like reading, whatever is worth reading, starting from novels to magazines to newspapers.
I also like listening to songs, mostly Bengali, Hindi and sometimes English, but I never like embarrassing myself and others by singing a song myself.
A few Video games also sometimes fascinate me.

My 2 philosophies in life are:
i) The Bible may have said "Hate the Sin and Not the Sinner", but I say "Hate the Sin as well as the Sinner, but don't ever be the Sinner of the same Sin Yourself"
ii) People say there is much to learn by seeing the great deeds of the Good people. But I say that there is even much more to learn by seeing the Nasty deeds of Bad people. We just have to Hate their nasty deeds and promise ourselves not to see those nasty deeds in ourselves.

Quite unique isn't it?

Now do I seem to be quite philosophical. Well I'm not.
I also like making new friends, and chatting with them that is why I'm in the social networking sites.

So that's all about me.

Inspired by Pulsar MTV Stunt Mania???

Now for those of you who are big fans of MTV India, you would know that recently MTV ran a show called Pulsar MTV Stunt Mania. As the name suggests it showed really mind blowing bike stunts by the contestants. The stunts performed by the contestants were damn good. Oh! Somebody had to see the boldness of the contestants either while riding inside a burning truck, or jumping into the sea, or on being thrown down from a copter. But the stunt men were trained professionals and were doing the stunts under expert supervision and proper safety requirements.

Now a few weeks ago one of my friends a great fan of Stunt Mania and a speed maniac tried to do a stunt himself. His dress code is ought to be mentioned in this regard. He simply wore a half pant (literally) and a sleeveless T-shirt. He is thin and tall. Now with that attire absolutely with no safety provisions at all he tried to do a stoppie. But one thing that was positive was that he was on a bicycle.

He started riding the bicycle with a great speed. We were watching from quite a distance. He sped up toward us. He was riding on a traffic free steep street and he was coming down the street. He sped up and sped up towards us and he was within yards with us, this was the when he was supposed to jam the front brake. He did apply the brake. But when he had braked the bicycle's front wheel was in a somewhat small pothole or crack on the street. The front brake of the cycle was really good. We had first thought that he wouldn’t be able to do the stunt. But surprisingly the rear wheel did go up. And then……………….

The front wheel apparently stuck in the street crack, with the brake jammed. The rear wheel went up a lot really a lot. When it was about at right angles with the ground, our ‘respected stunt man’ jumped off the bicycle to the front. And then the cycle took a overturn. Thank God the cycle didn’t fall on him. All this happened too quickly for us to react. When apparently we got back our senses we saw blood. The boy's leg was intensely bleeding. We helped him wash his feet. And saw that almost a bit of his flesh had come out. Later he told us that the bleeding was not stopping at all and he had to go for a dressing. He limped through out the durgapuja and is still limping after about a week and a half. He just told me that he would perhaps go for a X-ray soon.

However he learnt a lesson. He was just telling me a few days ago that he was never going to try a stunt any more and he advised us too not to try a stunt ever. He finally learnt to pay importance to the “Do not ever try this at home” message shown during the intervals of the show.

Hurray! Exams ends today.

Yes, finally it's all over. After 13 (or 14) long exams (I have lost count; :( there are so many of them). Yesterday was Mahalaya. Who likes to study when the air of Sharat bathes you and you get to see the shiuli flowers blooming in the backyard and see the different shows the Bengali TV channels about the Durgapuja
The Durgapuja is finally there. I feel such a great deal of joy when the puja comes. perhaps it's because of the ending exams, or because the summer is bidding farewell and the cool winter is peeping at the door. Whatever the reason may be I feel quiet happy during this time reclining on my chair and reading my novels and often gleaming at the white clouds. The coming of the puja for me means meeting my relatives again and of course how can I miss it: standing in the long lines of the Puja Pandals of Kolkata and watch the decorations and goddess (and the people; you know which people ;-) )
But anyways studies are going to start again in a few days , the only reason being that
ICSE is near. It's really gonna be difficult with 28 chapters of History and 30 chapters of Environmental Education. For now I think I would end here.

Here Goes my first BLOG

Well this the first time I am writing a blog. I created the blog a few months ago but could't really think of writing anything in my blog. Then just yesterday I just thought of writing something in my blog. I still wonder though what I will write and who's is going to read them , when there are great bloggers like Amitabh Bachchan present on the net.
Anyway I finally thought of sharing my thoughts on every aspect be it books, movies songs, society everything. At least that would be a good way to use my keyboard because in my keyboard the cursor control keys are most frequently used (for playing games).
I think from now I'll be a little more frequent with my blog and write whatever i can think of. I hope there wouldn't be any typos but still if there is any then I beg for an apology.
